Movement has always been a key element in my life, from the time I began dance lessons as a child through my certifications to become both a Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher. Physical strength and health is deeply connected with mental and emotional well-being and I believe in sharing my expertise in fitness and movement to empower my clients in their everyday life.
I earned my Personal Trainer certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine in November 2019 and started to train friends and family right away. In the summer of 2020 when the world was locked down, I joined the largest global Black yoga teacher training ever run by Yoga with Davina and spent 200 hours earning my yoga teacher certification.
I look forward to working together to build your confidence through holistic movement.
What I do
1:1 Personal Training
I meet my clients where they are physically. Whether you have been resistance training for 10 years or 10 minutes I will guide you through an hour long session that includes a warm up, resistance training and a cool down. Throughout the session we will check in about how different movements feel in your body to optimize your personal training experience.
Mobility Flow
I teach 45 minute mobility flow sessions that focus on joining breath with movement. Typically these sessions are low impact and each pose is held for 5-10 breaths. These sessions can be customized to focus on any area of your body to which you would like to bring breath, stretching and strength.
Custom Programming
If you are more comfortable in a gym setting and are looking for a bit out guidance and a customized routine this is the option for you. Customized plans can range from all weight lifting and strength training to mobility and flexibility training.
